Dreamer of Dreams

  • Coral Gables Museum 285 Aragon Avenue Coral Gables, FL, 33134 United States (map)

Join us for a special Father's Day tour to celebrate the life work of city founder, George Merrick, in developing Coral Gables. Visit his family's plantation, the cottage he built for his wife, the Merricks' final home in the Gables, and his favorite building built in the Gables. The story of Coral Gables and the Merricks is one of hopes and dreams, hard work and dedication, ups and downs, and, ultimately, the creation of the City Beautiful. Led by Coral Gables history buff Brett Gillis!

Can't ride a bike, but want to join? NO PROBLEM! Bike Walk Coral Gables is partnering with Freebee to provide green transportation in sleek electric vehicles to tour-goers who are unable to ride bike! Don't miss the fun! Space in the Freebee is limited to 5 passengers. Please purchase your Freebee tickets in advance by calling 305.603.8067.

The best way to experience the ambiance of Coral Gables is on a leisurely bike ride down the famous tree-lined boulevards, past the public parks, plazas and fountains, and by the beautiful homes and gardens. Join us for fun, educational bicycle tours through the City Beautiful every 3rd Sunday of every month. Each tour offers a different theme and route!

Presented by Coral Gables Museum and Bike Walk Coral Gables. Bike rentals and helmets (required for children under 16) are available at No Boundaries.
