The Barnacle Historic State Park

See a piece of pioneer Miami at the beautifully restored Coconut Grove home of Commodore Ralph Munroe. On this tour, we take a leisurely ride to Coconut Grove for a tour of the Barnacle State Park.
The Barnacle is the oldest home in Miami to be in its original location. Munroe was a Renaissance man known for his expertly crafted sailboats, early photography, environmental advocacy, and lifelong love of South Florida.

You can enjoy the beauty of the property while we are taken in small groups for a tour inside the Barnacle.  Feel free to bring a snack to picnic on while relaxing at the waterfront property at The Barnacle State Park.

***Ride distance from the Coral Gables Museum, round trip, is approximately 7 miles. This ride is not recommended for small children***

Presented by Bike Walk Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Museum, and Dade Heritage Trust.

$10; $5 for Museum and Bike Walk Coral Gables members and children under 12
