Missing Sidewalks Map
The presence of sidewalks is only one of the things that contributes to walkable neighborhoods and cities. However, the lack of sidewalks on busy streets makes it particularly difficult for pedestrians to get around, and inaccessible for wheelchair users. The map below shows the streets in Coral Gables that connect neighborhoods, but lack sidewalks on one or both sides of the street. These are the streets that should be prioritized for the addition of new sidewalks to make our city safer and more livable.
Streets missing sidewalks on one side of the street - colored in ORANGE.
Streets missing sidewalks on both sides of the street - colored in RED.
